EPISODE 35: DR. GEORGIOS KOTSAKIS
Dr. George Kotsakis is Associate Professor of Periodontics at UT Health San Antonio, Director of the ITI Scholarship Center, and holder of the Roland Meffert Endowed Professorship in Implant Dentistry. A Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, he leads the NIH-funded Translational Periodontal Research Lab, where his research focuses on bone regeneration, peri-implant bone loss, and implant therapies.

EPISODE 36: DR. JONATHAN A. MONTOYA
Dr. Montoya began as a pediatric dental assistant, and as a military child of mental health professionals, he’s committed to making dental visits comfortable and enjoyable. He spent three years working with renowned dentist Dr. Gordon Christensen at CRA, building deep expertise in dental materials and techniques. He earned a Business Management degree from Utah Valley University, followed by his DDS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (one of the top dental schools worldwide). He later excelled in a busy south Chicago clinic, completing a year’s worth of procedures monthly.

EPISODE 37: DR. PAIGE MOORHEAD
Dr. Paige Moorhead is an oral implantologist at Tacoma Dentures and Implants. She developed strong surgical skills through a one-year oral surgery internship and 2.5 years as full-time faculty at the University of Washington Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery program.
Her implant dentistry training began in 2021 with BioHorizons and GDIA programs, followed by the prestigious 300-hour MaxiCourse from the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. She has completed additional training in full-arch implants, digital workflows, osseodensification, botulinum toxin, and PRF techniques.

EPISODE 38: DR. VISHTASB "VISHY" BROUMAND, DMD, MD
Vishy Broumand, DMD, MD is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry and the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery along with a second year of General Surgery and a one year fellowship in Head and Neck Tumor and Reconstructive Surgery. Upon completion of fellowship, he was in private practice from 2006 to 2012, and later served as Assistant Professor of Surgery in the University of Miami School of Medicine Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 2012 to 2015.

EPISODE 39: DR. PUBLIO SILFA
Dr. Silfa completed his three-year post-graduate residency from 2009-2012 at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and spent the next year as a Chief Resident at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Silfa earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic in 2003. While there, he was involved in extensive research studying the relationship between cardiovascular disease and gum disease. He has remained up-to-date on the latest developments in his field including those in cosmetics, Invisalign, and implant dentistry.
